The Felician Children’s Center is dedicated to providing your child with a healthy, happy and engaging experience rooted in Catholic values. We offer multiple programs to our families:
- Montessori Preschool and Kindergarten Program for children 3 to 6 years of age;
- Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness Program is also available for children 2 weeks to 6 years of age;
The curriculum of the Center encourages your child to remain actively involved in the learning process, to experience a variety of activities appropriate to each age and rate of development, and to pursue individual interests in the context of life in the community and the world. Through these experiences, your child learns language, concepts about the physical world, social skills, emergent literacy, problem solving, motor coordination, and self-confidence.
The Felician Children’s Center continues the ministry of Blessed Mary Angela, foundress of the Felician Franciscan Sisters, by supporting families in the fundamental task of educating and caring for their children on all levels of development.
Through our Catholic identity and Felician Core Values, we will be a stabilizing influence for families, providing the foundation by which all children reach their fullest potential.They should have understanding for the children, watching over them with care…– Blessed Mary Angela
Felician Franciscan Sisters
Felician Sisters are educating and serving youth from preschools to college campuses across North America. Within our Felician-sponsored schools and colleges, students are taught in the Felician Franciscan tradition where they are provided distinctive opportunities for academic, personal, and spiritual growth in settings that foster compassion, justice, peace, respect for the dignity of all persons, and a reverence for all creation.
Felician-sponsored early childhood education centers encourage each child from a very early age to strive to reach his or her fullest physical, spiritual, and intellectual potential. Within these nurturing and compassionate environments, each and every child is respected and celebrated as a child of God.
